What a SUPER busy day, but tons of fun. We started off with our Bendi's Dash and had a blast. Then one of my super sweet moms helped me get prepared for the egg hunt. It was so fun to watch them hunt. The best part for the kiddos . . . . . . eating the goodies!!!!

My sweet friend and assistant (Mrs. Sampson - aka Hermi) threw me a surprise birthday party with the help of a super special class mom and my school mentor (thanks Mrs. Sutton and Mrs. Sugg - aka sweet Lori!!!). The class was so excited to surprise me. I'm so lucky. :)
The class put our new inchworm rulers that I received from Donors Choose today. They measured so much in the room and then they began measuring their arms, eyes and ears. So happy their getting to have fun experiences from the grants I receive. Love them!!! That sneaky leprechaun invaded our room and took our treasure box!!! Thankfully we had just wrapped up our map reading skills and were able to follow the clues. We tried to find the end of the rainbow and find a pot of gold, but it was no where to be found. However, we did find our missing treasure box with some yummy treats inside. We are determined to catch him next year!!! Look at the pictures below to see how our scavenger hunt around the school led us to our treasure!!! We started the celebration last week and kept right on going this week celebrating the beloved Dr. Seuss. Our class had "Green Eggs and Ham", made our own edible "Cat in the Hat", Tim Tebow and Justin Beiber read to us via SchoolTube, and we dressed up to show our love for all things Seuss!!! So much fun. Have I mentioned lately that I have THE BEST CLASS EVER???? |
