Wow, what an amazing show of support our families and community showed for our Kindergarten students. It was an awesome day for everyone involved and THANK YOU to everyone who supported our event. Below are just a few pictures from our day. I'll post more as I receive them!
This week our class will begin our first in-class engineering project - Kin-Gineers: Setting Sail on the Mayflower. Students will be exposed to what an engineer is and the Engineering Design Process, then they will construct their own Mayflowers with the help of local engineers from Weyerhaeuser and Fleet Readiness Center East as well as third grade students from Ms. Beauchamp's class. It's going to be a great week. Pictures to come to show our process during the week.
