Over the past two weeks we learned all about Thanksgiving. As part of our learning experience we re-created different parts of what brought about Thanksgiving. One group was assigned to make the Mayflower. Another made a Pilgrim house. Then one group made a wetu (Native American home). The last group made a Thanksgiving Feast. Our Art teacher, Mrs. E, came in and assisted our class on Monday. We had such a great time. On Wednesday, November 21, 2012, we presented what we learned to our fourth grade friends in Mrs. Sugg's class, our first grade friends in Mrs. Murphy's class, and our assistant principal (Mrs. Riggs). I was so proud of our class. Take a look at some of our pictures and a video from each group.
